Well organised and good sized rooms but lack of decent communal areas.

I stayed in an apartment with only one room. When I arrived, we were 4 students living there. 3 in the room and the other one in the dining room. The apartment was very small and we had some problems with the neighbors, who where tired of some many foreign people arriving and leaving. Finally, I had to go to the police office because the man who was renting us the apartment was not his owner and wanted to know details from us. It was not easy!

It was in the centre, in a wonderful quarter

The appartment was small but ideally located in the centre of town, a guest within a family building. Friendly family. However university Centro Assistenza Pavia was useless to most people and the responsible person continually refused to be of any aid to anyone in difficulty. Overall however an excellent, smooth experience.

I had some problems getting acomodation. I arrived later than the rest of my coallegues, but i managed to get a good room at a students dorm.

Was nice, but my neighbours were just italians and they have a different sytle of living from the erasmus students.
