The University of Siena in Italy is a prestigious institution known for its excellent academics and strong research focus. It offers a wide range of programs and a lively campus life, making it a fantastic place to pursue your education. The city of Siena itself is immersed in history and culture, creating a captivating atmosphere for students.
However, it's important to note that if you're studying in the health field, you may encounter some challenges when it comes to internships. Most of the programs in this field are primarily conducted in Italian, which can make it difficult for international students to access practical experience in the local healthcare industry. It's a language barrier that might limit your opportunities.
Nonetheless, the university is committed to supporting students and providing resources to help overcome these obstacles. They understand the importance of practical experience in the health field and will strive to assist you in your career aspirations.
I personally would have prefered a larger University with more going on. If you quite like a quiet life and are there to study lots rather than meet people and speak the language, then it is probably a good place to go.
