Buy beer and food from the Foodmarts which have offers. Cokoing a simple meal at home is very economical. Also during travel , it helps to hire a car and use tents and sleeping bags during summer travel.Great facilities to camp overnight everywhere.

Travel, alot of skiing closeby :) and a new place with alot of places to go to in a short time. Nightlife would have been alot more expensive but due to large differencies on alkoholpricing.
