Università di Catania

The Law department of the university of Catania is one of the oldesr and important law school in Italy. Course is quite taugh but good thing is that the calendar exams is quite flexible. The course is structured in a way that all the branches of the law are treated, however there you can tailor the coirs to your interests picking between a range of optional subjects per year. Teachers are usually well prepared, therefore demanding, but they are also generally flexible. Some of them have been pioneer of important law government reforms.
University is located in a wonderful villa of XVIII century in the heart of city centre. But there is also a second modern building that hosts more than 60 % of the classes. The two buildings are close to each other.

L'ambiente accademico. è molto accogliente e i professori molto preparati. Il corso che ho frequentato si chiama ''Design della Comunicazione Visiva'' e sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso dalla qualità e diversificazione degli argomenti, con materie come ''incisione calcografica'' che nella sua praticità ci ha insegnato a stampare con tecniche di stampa tradizionali, per poi spostarci su materie più teoriche come Advertising 1 e 2, che ci ha insegnato come si comunica sia sotto il punto di vista grafico che verbale.

L'Università di Catania offre diversi servizi ed indirizzi di studio in ampio sviluppo. Ho appreso quelle che sono le basi della finanza avanzata, con particolare riferimento al calcolo di FCF (ed i vari metodi di calcolo), gestione aziendale e report finanziari, nonchè teorie legate al pricing e metodi di investimento. La consiglierei pienamente, i docenti sono molto preparati.

My University gave me the basis to start my career, with prepared and professionals teachers. At the same time, a working experience is necessary to fully complete the path.
Thanks to my university I had the possibility to spend six month studying abroad, in Bulgaria at Varna University of Management.

The university is very good, with very interesting courses and the most important law school of Italy. Also global and political science are very good. The city is awesome for students’ lives. It’ quite cheap and offers a lot of activities and fun.

The courses are good but most of them are focused on the theoretical part and little on the practical and working part, having little impact on the student's working future.
