All in all the city and the local people is very nice. And the activities aruond Innsbruck is very good. But the University is not good, to much bureaucracy, nothing semm to work, and the academic level is also poor. No inspiring professors.

Never apply to this Institution!

Overall
I am in the process of forgetting everything about this institution (not a university)! It's a shame for me to even tell people that one part of my life was spent in this low-quality institution. I planned for a Ph.D. for more than 3 years and traveled to this country from a long distance, but they had not planned to have enough supervisors and enough classes for the new Ph.D. students, but they have hired enough people to protect them from negative comments on their website. It was a waste of time, energy and money. Do not repeat my mistake. To give more details, you can contact me on Telegram: +1(818)668-7469.

Pros
Believe me; nothing! I am trully a fair person.
Cons
All doors are closed. You won't be able to make an appointment with anyone. During 4 months, I was able to meet with on professor.

If you are staying in a university residence, choose Roter Adler house in the Altstadt, visit the surrounding areas as much as possible, buy the season ticket and ski loads...

Housing
Type of housing: University accomodation in the old town center
Arranged by: Home university
If returning, I would choose: In Roter Adler again!
Why?
Central location, lots of Austrians, not only Erasmus students, good atmosphere...

Lots of the accomodation is miles outside the center, Roter Adler is the most centrally located house and by far the most popular!
