It was great. An expereience that has to be done. The city is nice. Try to find some other activities than the one organized by the Local Eramus Iniative (LEI) : they are good but you will be mostly with other international students. No the best way to meet Gerrman people

The dormitory was very good. The atmosphere of the dormitory was great, not far from the city center and in the campus (mensa, library and 2 more dormitories in less than 5 min by foot). It's cheap, I'm sharing the kitchen and the bathroom only with 1 flatmate and I have my single room.
