At first it was quite difficult but the host university provides an intensive german course for free which is a very good opportunity to improve either your oral, listening or writing level ! Five hours a day and five days a week during five weeks ! It is intensive but a great experience since you meet a lot of foreign students like you. When I first arrived in Germay I could barely speak an easy sentence and after these five weeks I could have a small conversation on any subject in german ! My German roommates also helped me improve my german talking with them every day and correcting my mistakes which is the key ! It is quite hard to get to learn Germans if you don't talk to them first. Once you know them they are very nice.

To work in a challenging, growth oriented, technological environment and to work with professional, reputable, resilience and technological advanced organization is my dream. Because this improves my capability of flexibility, creativity, responsiveness, commitment and to work in a team environment. So if I will get the chance to work as Network Officer/Software Support Officer in your organization, it will not only assist the company to increase the business efficiently but will also give me the chance to work according to my nature.

The experience to learn German is mixed since our course is in English here and we have no German students and no interections in German in classes that contribute most of our time. It was only through our German lecture course and social interection that motivated and guided me to learn German.

Most people in Germany speak English, so communiccating was not a factor. Since they knew I was American, they would automatically speak English to me and I would respond in German and then they would speak German.

My german language skills were pretty weak in the beginning of my study period and i encountered occasionally some problems in every-day life. In the end of the period the situation was a lot better.
