I was used to more interaction between students and teachers from the Stockholm School of Economics, but my overall impression from the university of Cologne was OK.
CEMS courses are smaller classes and thus better to follow, especially in the beginning when your German is not yet very good. One month before semester starts you can follow german language courses for free at the university!

Pourquoi?
I lived in only 10 minutes from the university, but the surrounding looked like a suburb. Everything was clean and quiet, I had a wonderful view of the garden with grown trees. Becides, my co-habitants were very nice people.

Pourquoi?
I enjoyed living in a WG. I shared the place with 5 other people and three of them were German so I had the opportunity to practice my German and meet lots of German friends through them which was great! Also, super cheap!
