Expenses
Main source of funding:
An ERASMUS grant
Other sources of funding:
none
Work opportunities:
I didn't want/need to work
Personal spending habits
Food: I spent more because I couldn't go home on weekends and eat on my parents' expenses :) Accomodation: the student's dorm was really cheap, only one third of the price I would pay for a student's dorm in Austria. Travel: travelling is cheaper in France, there are better offers for students. And transportation is cheaper in general.

Personal comments
In order to telephone back home, use an international phone card (buy in post offices). It's VERY cheap! Oh yes, and books can be quite expensive. Try to copy as much as possible. For lunch, chose one of the restaurants and cafeterias on campus - the food is quite ok, it doesn't kill you, and it's not expensive compared to buying food and cooking.

Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
I enjoyed having my own apartment. Some times it's nice to live with other people but I prefer living on my own.

My experience at college
Jérémie A
France, Undergraduate
Communication and Information Sciences, 2021
Overall
I currently follow a double-diploma program, which is one of the main perks of being in UBM college. By Summer 2021 I will get an undergraduate degree in Information and Communication Sciences, and also in English. Courses are interesting and thorough, and the quantity of concrete projects we have allow us to project ourselves into the professional environment, developing skills such as leadership, teamwork and time management.
