Good university
Maria I
France,
Management Science, 2023
Overall
Not the perfect place, a lot of things to improve, but in average enough to have a start in career and to get general perception about everything you need for professional life.

Personal spending habits
Food is generally less expensive at the university cafeterias, and groceries seemed to be less too. I used télécartes at 50F per card to make international and local calls in France. Taking the train is certainly less expensive than gas prices and domestic airfare in the US. I never experienced a cover charge at a bar or club for that matter in France. Mixed-drinks were perhaps a little on the high side but a good beer in Dijon was only 2.75 USD. Overall, it was cheaper for me to be in France for the summer than it would have been to stay home.

Personal comments
I found that to commute between Dijon and Lyon on the weekends, it was much cheaper to buy the tickets in France than to use a RailPass. Reserve the RailPass for long journeys, otherwise the normal train is much cheaper.

Le nombre de semestre d'étude n'est pas suffisant. Certains professeurs manquent de rigueur, leurs cours sont incomplets et parfois incompréhensibles.

Overall
The study I'm following is still quite new to me but definitely challenging, you have to work a lot on your own and be aware that time flies and loads of homeworks are given.
