I was so lucky of finding an appartment next to Piazza San Pietro in Rome. The renting was pretty cheap and just five minutes from the underground.

Difficult to find accomodation. Word of mouth and newspapers are the best options.

I had the biggest and most beautiful appartment I have ever had... marble floor everywhere in a nice appartment complex in the Potuense neighbourhood. Although I had to share my room with my flatmate (which is quite common in Italy apparently), everything was more than I expected. Hopefully, we got along quite well. For the rent I paid (very little), it couldn't be beat! We even had a washing machine! Conviently located to reach the University but far from the city center.
