interaction...teacher tells in 2 hours what he knows to a very big group of students, students are supposed to listen...I think classes would be more efficient if there would be some interaction between students and teacher.
a good thing, Free electives: there is already interaction between teacher and students.
They were great! I took Art and Language courses. The only thing I had trouble with was figuring out certain requirements that were expected at enrollment and during final exams, etc.

Unfortunately, since we were not required to know Catalan (one of Spain's four national languages and the choice one for the Barcelona area), our abroad program made classes for us with local professors. These were great, but we didn't get to meet many local students.

Access to professors is difficult, extra help is unheard of, contact via email or phone is a long process. The quality of the courses at my home university is much higher.

Don't come to Barcelona to improve your academics. If you want to party and do lots of cultural things, fine, but the quality of the professors, the resources and the courses is not that great.
