Gent is located in the Flemmish region of Belgium, where Dutch is the native language. However, since almost everyone, of all ages, speaks very good English, it is very easy to adapt and communicate with everyone, students and locals alike

the weather is horrible but the rest it is so nice, is so cheap travel around Europe from here
