This review focuses on academic activities conducted by European educational institutions, universities and research institutions. Many universities, organizations and laboratories are active participants in the common space of academic scientific and educational cooperation. Some organizations provide funding, while others use grants for various collaborations, internships and research tasks. Leading European universities are actively involved in this process. Various academic organizations, universities and research groups are currently receiving generous funding streams. Funds come from both government agencies and corporations and individuals. An important goal of all this generous funding is to maintain a healthy scientific environment and develop cooperation between different countries, academics and universities both inside and outside the EU.
