Personal comments
It was very different from the grading and work system at my home university. While I am accustomed to a steady workload, in Amsterdam there were typically only one or two major assignments given which put a lot more pressure upon the student to keep up with their readings so that they are up to date in class.

Studying at the UvA
Luana B
Netherlands, Undergraduate
Business Studies, 2024
Overall
So far I have been enjoying the experience at the UvA. The study curriculum for both of my courses is very well-structured and interesting. The professors do a really great job at explaining the material and are very open to answering questions. Also, I like the fact that there are a lot of group discussions and we interact a lot with our fellow students and tutors and have group projects as well.
