I went to school in New York-Amsterdam is cheaper compared to NY. Also, since i was abroad, I wnet out and did more thigns than normal, so I spent more in that regard.

the "industrial goods" (clothes etc. are the same price as at home) - only the food is more expensive + you always spend more on nightlife when you're on exchange...

get yourself a DUTCH bank account (they require transfers very often!!!), COPY the books (that costs less than 10% of original copy)

I am a curious person and I always want to try or know more of people, place or situation. Hence, I spent more seeing, knowing and learning about Holland's things because living expenses are pretty high especially in Amsterdam where I am living than in my home country.
