As for housing, I paid for my 6 student flat on campus approximately the same amount as I did for a flat of my own (30m2) in the center of Turku...

Traveling eats up a lot of money, if you're not careful. The again, the main point is to see as much as you can. If you can afford it, go for it!

I was living at Hillhead Halls. Nice area (wood, river, proximity with the sea, not far from university). I was sharing a flat with six other international and local students. Wonderul opportunity to meet many people and learn about other cultures.
