Excellent university in a beautiful city
Christopher B
France, Undergraduate
Engineering, Electronic, 2022
Overall
I love studying at Adelaide Uni, its has beautiful grounds and a thriving connection with the events of the city. The courses are, for the most part, well taught and the administration is always willing to help you. The people are friendly and there are many social clubs available. Highly recommend.

Education, Graduate, Ausaid
Housing
Type of housing: international hostel
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: international hostel
Why?
If you want intercultural exchange, go for hostels. Otherwise, if you need greater privacy, get a housemate and settle for an apartment near the city.

Personal comments
The university unfortunately does not offer campus living. It does have affiliate college residences, but these are more expensive. If budget is your primary concern, you can save more if you settle in international hostels, apartments or homestays located in the suburbs.

Expenses
Main source of funding:
Government assistance
Other sources of funding:
Other
Work opportunities:
I didn't explore any work options
Personal spending habits
I constantly visit the Central Market and gorge on the delectable items it serves: from fresh farm produce to restos within the area. Travel you must, don't fail to get across Kangaroo Island. The seasonal breaks offer chance to travel: Visit Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, if budg and time allows. I sorely miss visiting Ayers Rock, though.
