Because you feel free to organize your day after the classes (only 10 hours a week!), and you can share the accommodation with nice foreign students, if you're lucky.

The accommodations at the University had a bad reputation, people living in were complaining and especially it is too artificial, I think you can't feel at home in this kind of accomodation.

I would stay on campus, but I would have transfered to the most recent accomodation buildings that offer better facilities, and only have 5 person per flat.

The housing is expensive, they could lower the cost easily. Very well situated, close to the lectures.

the university accomodation in Birmingham and as a whole in England is too much expensive for what it is. Private accomodation is everywhere pretty much oldish with a serious lack of modern facilities.
