“Unique perspective on social sciences”

OverallThe courses at UC Santa Cruz were unique, including many on contemporary social issues. One large class with smaller sectionals, so you get more personalize time with TA's. Professors and TA's are always open to novel ideas and will support with thinking and planning out assignments. Campus itself is beautiful and very relaxing. Great atmosphere to learn.

GO!! there's no better place for such an experience.. if you want a prty university go to UCSB but in a general view UCSC is totally all right for an international student.

Final comments
Great teaching and courses. Great place to travel to near-by locations. Small easy-going city, close to the environment. Beautiful forest scenery. Not many things to do at night.

because for a long term stay grants a larger independence and freedom to move but as an exchange student all the on campus accomodation are pretty good

Great communication in English. Americans are friendly and speak a lot to strangers. If you want to learn English is a great place to come. Many literature programmes offered here as well.
