Maybe the students should "shop around" more before the settle for a particular course. Maybe go to a few lectures before they finally decide.

The teachers should perhaps check whether the group assigments are being carried out by the entire group or only a few group members, which was often the problem in some of my groups

i took part in 6 courses and all of them were really good. i just want to recommend paul thomas and will williams as the 2 best lecturers of all the courses.

i think they should organize classes a little bit more through the week and not just 2 hours lecture and 2 hours tutorial each course.

Most computer related courses are pretty good.

A better LRC (Learning Resource Center) would nice. However, Internet access is granted 24/24, which helps when resources are not availble at the LRC

- Quality of courses: This uni is the UK's third best in business, but is really easy (I know a lot of people in business, they promise it). The uni is also good for Multimedia, Software engineering and Electronics. As for the whole branch of humanities (what I do), it's complete bullshit. - Good things: Quite good technological equipments (loadsa PCs with scanners, CD recorders, color printers, Inet facilities...). As far as the interaction with local students is concerned... well, I wouldn't like to generalise, but English and Welsh people do without foreign people. They are at home and they don't need people from abroad. ...maybe I shouldn't say this but... well, a friend of mine from Mauricius was really disappointment with the relationship with the locals because of racism! Shit!

There's no information for the student, the system is a bit chaotic.

To be quite independant and to study regularly.

To be more guided about what teachers really expect from us and how they want us to study, as there is a huge gap between what course provide us in terms of competences and the demand for the exams
