I had no problems in communicating since i have been studying English for many years before and the language of instruction in my first degree was also English.There were some difficulties communicatining with local people sometimes becuase of their different accent.

i use to speak with my academic teacher and with some local and foreign student; most of the time communication is easy doing and the difference of language is not at all a problem; this is much more interesting to speak with some people from differents countries.

I had a prety good command of English before my stay in UK, but I really improved my level of vocabulary and my abilities to write in English. After a few weeks, I managed to speak quite fluentely, and I even dreamt in English!
