I studied International Communications and can recommend it very much. Some of the mandatory courses were not that interesting, but other courses were excellent. Great social life with other international students.

It´s a great university, people are friendly, the library facilities are amasing and Leeds is a great place to grow up.

Just relax and let yourself go with the flow, England is a great country, I agree we are somehow different, but do not let these differences to spoilt your time there. Enjoy your stay and the country as much as you can.

It is a bit difficult to be in touch with local students, but you can meet students from everywhere in the world, it is amazing. There are very interesting places to visit fairly close to Leeds, e.g. Liverpool, York, Edimburgh, Lake District, Manchester, etc.
