If I was to stay for more that 6 months I would chose an apartment which is cheaper and has more space. But if I was to live again in Luton for 6 months then definately I would chose on campus where you can always meet new people and have fun.

The cost was outrageous for the facilities offered. The room's space for 1 person was ok. The cleaners didn't do a good job each time so sometimes we had to clean better ourselves. If you don't like overnight parties and excessive noise then don't go to Bute Court.

My room in Luton was exactly 30 minutes walk from the University.
Also my accomodation was situated in the roughest part of town.
Rapes, murders and muggings were part of every day life in that area!
Also there was nothing around you, if you wanted to go to town you would have to spend money on a cab because it was too dangerous to walk!

I spent a lot of money for subpar housing. I was told that an off-campus apartment was cheaper and cleaner than the on-campus housing.

Housing was awful. My kitchen caught on fire during a weekend and I myself had to call the fire department; there was no one supervising in the housing complex.
