I wish I had known...
It is cold in Melbourne in the winter (May-October). Especially indoors. I wasn't prepared for this. The lowest temperature I had in my apartment was +12 degrees celsius. So bring warm clothes!

Be active and take part in all social events that are offered. That is the best way to make new friends.
The university expects you to be active and initiative, but they also provide very good orientation services.
Victoria is a beautiful state. See at least Wilsons Promontory!

Travelling is a lot of fun in Australia. You will spend all you money on travelling. It was the best year of my life!

Enroll in the Universities Mountaineering Club and you will meet tons of locals and see all of Victoria. And check out the Universities surf-camp at the beginning of the semester!

Le master offre un très large choix de cours. Idéal pour une spécialisation en fiscalité internationale. Les professeurs sont excellents et viennent d'universités prestigieuses. Le campus est idéalement placé au centre de Melbourne.
