Great experience
Ryan
Australia, Graduate
, 2018
Overall
I completed Master of Social Work (Professional Qualifying) at UNE from 2017-2018. It was an online course with some mandatory face-to-face components. My experience was great. The online units/modules were easy to navigate. I could listen to lectures in my own time and at my own pace. Assessments were reasonable and not too difficult. Readings weren't excessive. Lecturers were generally supportive. I would get emails from the Uni checking in from time to time. Enrolment was simple. UNE was the only uni that did not have strict entry requirements. Overall, I am very happy I chose UNE over ACAP, WSU and ACU. I have recommended this Uni to my postgraduate friends who are already working full time and looking for flexibility. Highly recommend UNE! They now offer bespoke courses which is impressive

Generally great experience comparatively to other universities I've attended
Eben R
Estonia, Graduate
Education, Primary, 2017
Overall
Both online and on-campus experience was great though my on-campus experience was limited.

Professional placement department was useless when dealing with finding me a placement outside their region and though I understand I was requiring a placement inside other universities region of influence their poor attempt at helping to solve the problem was more of a hindrance than help they could have done a lot, lot more.

Personal comments
UNE makes a strong committment to its foreign exchange students based on a church program, the university itself helps people achieve Phds it would not award to local students based on the same level of effort and language proficiency

Amazing External Setup
Sarah
Australia, Undergraduate

Overall
I completed PSYC304 - Health psychology externally to graduate on time from ANU and it was amazing. I've since studied externally with a few different universities and this is still my favourite. Everything was easy to figure out, support was quick, the course was one of the clearest I've done, and assessment was interesting and connected well to the course content.

Also a big thanks to Einar Thorsteinsson who ran the course. He was quick to reply, very helpful and kind.
