Newcastle is a really university town. There are a lot of discos, clubs and cafes where you can meet people and have fun. If you want to be in a university environment you must go to the UNION. It is a kind of club inside the university where you can find nightlife and groups which organize activities and trips.

The Masters degree was up to date with Faculty that had experience in industry so they knew how to relate course modules to industrial practices.
Facilities at the university were also top class with a large number of social and sporting clubs.

Overall
Really friendly community, teachers are from Hispanic or Lusophone countries. Loads of opportunities to do extra curricular activities. The city is great place to visit and have fun, it is also very cheap.

Pros
Good job prospects once graduating. Caring teachers. Great links and support.
Cons
Some of the course structure isn't the best. I wish we had more smaller seminars than big lectures.
