The University of Notre Dame (Mendoza College) offers a great program with top-of-the-line faculty members and a great exposure to international experiences and practices from the rich mix of cultures present in the two-year or one-year programs.

Since the US dollar was not as strong as it is today at that time, the costs of living were rather less than in France. However, I was spending a lot on telephone bills to call my family/friends back home.

In this especific MA program on international peace studies, all students can choose to live together in the same building. Being 22 students from 18 countries, this has been a very enriching experience.

for shopping go to Sam's Club, it is worth paying the $30 at the beginning, you'll end up saving money.
