A russel group world class university
Agne G
United Kingdom, Graduate
Biology, 2020
Overall
The course I have studied was MSci Environmental Biology with an International Year (in Lyon, France). The course is amazing, with ability to choose between the modules freely, and having the chance to add modules from any school in the university.

The teachers are helpful if you want the help - there are meetings set up with your mentor, and any of the other lecturers are willing to give extra time for any module related help needed

The students come from all different socio-economic backgrounds from all over the country and abroad. People like to congregate with their own unfortunately, but that is the case in most places.

Societies are a great way to meet people and there are over 200 student run societies, so like minded people can be found anywhere. Sports are at a really high level if you are too, otherwise they have beginners level for everything also.

Careers help is even provided after graduation, there are many fairs, events, and careers advisors are always accessible.

Personal comments
For me, the most difficult was really the beginning. I knew this, that's why I decided to register for an English course (CELE Course) for one month before the beginning of the terms. It was really good because I practised academic, social and everyday English. It was during this course that I met many foreign studients.
