My time at the University of Nottingham
Isa D
United Kingdom, Undergraduate
Political Science, 2021
Overall
The University of Nottingham has helped me develop socially, culturally and academically. I have been very happy and fulfilled during my time at Nottingham, as the city as a vibrant culture and the university has a beautiful campus. The teaching is great and the student services team and the lecturers are very supportive. The rent is fairly reasonable in the city, and I am enjoy living in Nottingham.

Isis at wednesday is excellent. I quite like the old trip to have a pint in the evening. There are basically lots of places where you can go at night .

Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why?
This solution is surely costly, but still less than living in a house. Moreover, Florence Boot Hall was very friendly and close to the University (5 minutes walk).

Personal comments
The Accomodation Services really makes all its possible to satisfy the students' requirements. They are absolutly available for any questions and/or problem that you could encounter. The Personnel in Florence Boot Hall was trumendously polite and helpful. Eventually, I do recommend to all students this type of accomodation on the campus.

not to speak correct English can create a lot of funny situations, do not be shy, the important is to communicate, rather than speaking perfect.

The classic student nights are to be seen (Isis, Works) however it becomes quickly boring. There are plenty of pubs and discos in the centre.
