Course recommendations
Make sure you take at least two seminar-type lessons. They're much better if you want to get involved in the class, and give you a greater chance of interacting with Canadian students. Both professors and students are always more than willing to exchange their points of view with international students.

L'univerité d'Ottawa est une des meilleures du Canada, le point positif qui la démarque des autres est le fait que nous pouvons etudier en bilingue (Francais/anglais).
Il y a meme des bourses uniquement pour étudier en francais

The University of Ottawa is bilingual: roughly 40% of the classes can be chosen in french. On campus, you can choose whether you want to speak french or english with some people, though sometimes the English and the French communities are two separate ones.

I had no language or communication problems whatsoever. That's because I was already fluent in English when I arrived. I haven't spoken any French though (the other official language at OttawaU), but that wasn't one of my exchanges goals to begin with.
