Overall
I would recommend the University of Oxford for an exchange placement or degree programme. The college system is unique and offers an opportunity to mix with students studying different courses - this leads to interesting conversation and personal growth. The teaching quality is excellent.

The housing was neat considering it was such a historic building but had recently been remodeled. We had scouts to make our beds, clean the bathroom, and empty trash. The accomodations were very nice for on-campus housing

Academic
Course recommendations
We had fewer courses to choose from, through a special arrangement made by Stanford, but even then we couldn't go wrong. It was a chance for us to explore interests we wouldn't normally have time or opportunity to back at home.

Not at all. Academic standards in the UK are set very high, which I appreciated and learned a great deal from.
