In general British pound is more than US dollar so I spent slightly more on drinks and cover when we would go out than I would at home. And money spent on travel...there is so much to see I spent the money willingly to travel to countries so close by.

buy what you want for a whole week and not same day buying because this causes transportation cost as well as if you buy in bulk it a bit reduces your expenditure.
