at home i am living with my parents so i am not paying any rent. For the phone it was expensive to me because i was spending time phoning to my family, this spending doesn't exist anymore. The food is expensive when you study abroad because you usually on the campus, you don't bother cooking and eat out. The nightlife is special when you're a student abroad.You have to meet people and socialise, therefor you need to go for drinks and food very often to meet other students

the best xay to save money sis to open a bank account in the host country and take advantage of the first days of registration when Banks agree to open a bank account to any student. It is more difficult if you do it later

It is quite difficult to open a bank account for a international student for the first time. And it may be some other problems in the future connected with banks. Cost-saving tips are different, for example to know cheaper shops, to buy bus saver for a year etc.
