There are plenty of pubs and clubs to go at night in the city and it really depends on people's tastes, restaurants in Glebe and in the Rocks are very nice. Some evets that have to be seen and/or participated in are the City to Surf and the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade.

blues festival at byron bay during easter, kings cross for guaranteed nightlife, studying at the botanical gardens, the powerhouse museum, and, of course, a concert at the opera house

my favourite places in Sydney are: the Broadway Lounge (close to the UTS), Glebe with all its cafe, The Royal Botanic Gardens, The Rocks and Pancakes on the Rocks.

Time for movies with friends is the very first thing that i don't want to miss out. It then follows by the night club down in George St (Star Bar) and also trip with friends during holiday is a must where so far i've been skiing, NZ, Goldcoast and so on .

Go for the 5AUD steaks in the pubs across the city. My favourite: Strawberry Hills Hotel, just behind Central Station!Enjoy!
