Yes, cost of living and they need more courses. If I knew I could only take a few, I would have not applied for the second semester.

Don't go here. Hamilton is boring. New Zealand is fantastic. Try to go to school in Otago, Wellington or somewhere where there is more to do.

Hamilton won't keep you occpied on its own. THere are so many cool things see like Hot Water Beach, Waitamo Caves, Raglan, etc., that are all close to Hamilton, be sure to take advantage of the central location and check it all out. I suggest you see as much of NZ as you can. It may be a small country, but it is packed full with heaps of crazy and beautiful places. I still have a list of things I want to come back and do.

i really love this universiy! i love the location, the campus, facilities and everything thats come with it. i dont think i'll trade places with anyone:)
but i do hope that in future the uni. will involve the int'l stuents more like in unions, activities and funtions.

everyone, this is a great uni. (believe me i have not been bribed to say that). the country is just awesome, there are thousand things u could do here..so get urself down here and enjoy the best of both worlds! best of luck!

The campus life is really nice you will meet all different people from other countries and you get to learn about the local culture. Having to live in a Hall of Residence provides you with the stable platform in your academic success.

If you wanted to travel by coach you can use your student i.d card to get a discount.Travel agents sometimes have low fares due to seasons or events happening in areas where you want to go.In the begining of the year the international student office offers trips to other parts of the country where you can experience the New Zealand life and you can travel for free.
