The overall language and communication experience at the University is satisfactory. The class was reasonally misxed and provided a good language environment, with one third native speakers and two third international students. The language center was also supportive, with a range of free English courses running through the year. In addition, there was a great deal of interactions between the university and local communities.

One of the main reasons for me to go to study in the UK was to become more fluent in English and thus more confident to use it. The perfect way to learn a foreign language is to live in the country where it's spoken.

I encountered language problems only when talking to certain local students because of their use of slang. All academic staff, however, was easily understandable.
