Of course, the most popular museums and tourist sites are a must to visit. Also, try taking a day to just mosey around one of the many parks (the smaller, local, neighborhood ones are the best) and have a picnic or something. This city has everything anyone could ever ask for, you just need to proactively search it out.

I spent one year on campus and it was allright. The reason I moved out of campus was that it was too far away from Central London and I wanted to make the most of my year in the UK and experience the real pulse of the city.

Make sure you have enough financial funds if you go to London, because it is very expensive. But it was a wonerful experience to me.
