“My experience at the University of Windsor”
Prakash P
Canada, Undergraduate
Political Science, 2018
Overall
In my opinion many of the courses taught here were by well meaning, enthusiastic professors who were at times limited by the administrations inability to efficiently fund programming over other capital investments such as a welcome centre and fitness centre. Hopefully the university is moving in a more positive direction now, but I can't see adequate funding going to my former department.

- Go into chemistry because I wanted to go into biochemistry, but got a bigger scholarship for taking chemistry and still was accepted for medical school.
- I barely did not have the grades for medical school in Canada, but had enough for u.s.

Academic
Course recommendations
- There are some great teachers epesically Green, he is the best chemistry teacher and many others are not that dedicated or are assholes like Johnson and Schurko.
- Physical Chemistry sucked, but organic was awesome. 1st year is easiest, 2nd year is toughest, 3rd year is very hard first semester but easy second and 4th year is almost as easy as first year.
-For physical chemistry (Schurko) ask someone for old exams since 2 out of the 4 midterm questions will be similar in physical chem. Analytical chem sucked.

Bring an American visa in order to visit Detroit, which is conveniently located across the river.
