At the University of Ljubljana, my college experience has been a fantastic mix of quality. The professors are great, bringing both theory and real-world know-how to class. We do lots of teamwork and hands-on projects that help us learn practical skills for the marketing world.

In addition, the campus atmosphere is really positive and friendly, which makes it a great place to grow and share ideas with others.

The marketing program at SEBLU however is the heart of my time here. It covers everything I'll need for my future marketing career – from understanding how people buy things to using the latest digital marketing methods. In short, we got a full overview of economics, consumers, and the ins and outs of marketing, the knowledge of which I am excited to use in the future.

The basic aim of the study programme Food Science and Nutrition is to train an expert who is able to have a broad understanding of the areas of food and nutrition with emphasis on knowledge and skills related to food, i.e. production, processing, quality and marketing of food and nutrition as a natural continuation of food, for proper, safe and healthy nutrition or normal development and maintenance of human health. The graduate is trained to plan, organize, manage and control food production and human nutrition, as well as some accompanying activities, taking into account natural, social and environmental principles in food production and the implementation of safe and healthy human nutrition. Student life in University of Ljubljana is well organized with a lot of benefits.

A study system in Slovenia is very good. There are a lot of benefits for students wishing to study in Slovenia for example as Erasmus students. The teachers are nice, helpful, they want the best for you. At the Faculty of Economics there is already a lot international students as many programmes are in English. Besides that, you get a tutor, a place to stay and discounts on food at restaurants. People are also nice and Ljubljana is a lively city with many opportunities, interesting things to visit, a beautiful city centre... Everything is close so you don't spend much time on travelling from point A to B.
