At the beginning there is two weeks of Intensive Czech, which helps a little. Most people speak at least a little English and Czech is a very hard language.

Cheap opera and ballet tickets available. Nice, not so sophisticated pubs in Žižkov, and elsewhere... Weird student video paries in a club in kolej Hvìzda.
