“Five years of study of social work and theology”

Overall

I chose Charles University for its prestige and the range of fields of study. At that time, I was interested in the history of medieval art, and studying at the Hussite Faculty of Theology was a great opportunity to combine this interest with other knowledge.

Careers

This faculty offer an internship, I don't have any own experience, although.

Pros

Apart from theology, there are also other interesting fields (social work, history, psychology)

Cons

When studying theology, a lot of information here is repeated over and over again across all grades.

In my current situation i dont qualify for the help the school actually supplies in internships, CV help, guidance etc. as they only do that for 2nd and 3rd year students. THey do provide extensive assistance to students and their efforts to find an internship in the fields of Politics, Philosophy, or Economics.

Pros

Workshops on CVs as well as mentorship programmes by the professors

Cons

providing first year students the access to these percs as well.

even if i had erasmus one and half year ago, now i go really often to prague to visit my czech friends and i really would like to move and work in prague...

Final comments

Get out and see everything! Travel in country, and to local countries, go to cultural events, walk around town, go to museums, etc. Just do everything!
