Personal comments
The cheapest and easiest night life spots were the student pubs. Two were on campus and the other was in the student housing area in the city. For recreation, a bike or pair of legs could bring you to many places in and outside the city. The bus route even connects to a beach area sits just outside the city.

Housing
Type of housing: studenthouse in the city
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: studenthouse in the city
Why?
It was really good there! Lots of contact with other (exchange) students, close to the shopping streets, not so far from campus and lots of party's!

Personal comments
Not too expensive, good size rooms, good contact with other students. The rooms on campus are nicer then the ones in the city but you have less party's there!

Personal comments
English is spoken quite well throughout Sweden. In fact, it was difficult to learn Swedish when Swedes could speak English much more easily and fluently. I rarely had any kind of inconvenience due to language barrier, but learning some basic Swedish made everyday life a lot easier and more rewarding.

It's pretty good that the lectures are held in English; but furthermore I think it's essential the get insights in the language of your host country. This is possible at Växjö Unversity.
