Personal comments
Most Swedes speak English so it was pretty easy to get around. Although you need basic knowledge for everyday things like groceries, bank stuff, buss schedule etc all in Swedish.

Many people live on campus. My residence was between the school and the city but not very many people knew where it was.

The on campus student pubs Sivans and Stallana were the best - in price and in fun. Alcohol in Sweden is super expensive so because of this students usually had a pre-party in residence before heading out much later in the evening. Many students even started brewing their own beer.
