Denmark is an expensive country due to its high taxes (VAT). Every service is quite expensive, which means that every time you go to a restaurant, bar or disco and you ask for something you are paying for a service that is associated with a high tax and, thus, you end paying more than you would pay in most of the countries. Prices in the supermarket are quite reasonable, but overall they are more expensive. Nightlife can get very expensive if you want to drink (around 4/6eur. for a beer and 10eur. for a long drink). In most of the discos you don't pay an entrance fee before midnight. After that you pay between 7/12eur. Public transports are expensive as well and you should avoid them. It is not difficult to get a bike and you will probably use it most of the times to go from one place to another. If you want to use the bus often (in winter it will snow and it will be very cold) you should buy a month ticket or 10 journeys tickets). I payed around 350eur. per month for accommodation, but depending from which country you are, you might pay half of that price. A good thing about Denmark is that you don't pay anything to go to the doctor once you are registered as a citizen (you will get card with a CPR number).
