Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
My room was a real stone throw distance from the School, so much so that a thrown stone would have reulted into breaking the window pane of the school library. The house in general was spacious with a garden that none of us living in the house, ever had time to take care of. Also, I was one of the very few people who had the luxury of a big bath tub, which served the purpose of more than a couple of international students, (Specially the one who had to pay one Euro to her landlady, for her 6 minutes shower, everyday).

There is no housing arrangement by the School. Al though, affiliated with the University of Gent and Leuven, University housing is the only facility that is unavailable to students from Vlerick.

Type of housing: A room exchange
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
It is always nicer to have a place of your own, not having to use communal bathroom and kitchen. No landlady or landlord to bother you.

The school goes through a lot of effort to help international students find decent and affordable accomodation in good locations since most of us have to walk to school.
