Food and accomodation are cheaper in Austria than in Denmark. Travel took more than my regular expenditures level, as Austria is a very beautiful country.

You do more things here then you would have done at home. For example, we go out 4 times a week, which I would never do at home. And everything in Vienna is a bit more expensive then in the Netherlands.

An exchange always cost a lot of money. Even though it is tempting, try to cook at home as much as possible, instead of going out for dinner, it can save you a lot of money.
