“Good teaching in a beautiful campus”
Witold G
Italy, Graduate
Engineering, Mechanical, 2013
Overall
My program in Power Engineering was well thought. There were a lot of practical classes in labs. There was the availability of English courses and since I took them, it encouraged me to go for my Erasmus exchange program in Italy.
The campus is vast, composed of old and new buildings. As I know it developed a lot last years. There is a river Odra around the main campus.
The university provides plenty of extra activities for students: academic circles, sport clubs, student parties.
One star less since in my time of studies there were professors denying climate change in my department.

“Spanish student Bachello's degree in WUST-english”
Ernesto T
Poland, Undergraduate
Engineering, Mechanical, 2020
Overall
Overall is excellent, most of the courses provided where satisfying but of course some teachers put more enphasis on teaching the students than others.
All of the fields of the mechanical engineering are covered by such courses. The facilities and the laboratories are asset and are good to learn.
The only drawback is that some materials are not totally in english, but in polish and the teachers english is not fluent sometimes.

the academic life is very bureaucratic, people are not very helpful, one must ask the right people the right questions. The atmosphere is quite authoritarian.
