Food is expensive here, plus the taxes kill you. Plus keep in mind the exchange rate, IF YOUR FAMILY IS SUPPORTING YOU FROM ABROAD THEN THEY HAVE TO SEND YOU ALMOST 3 TIMES what they want to send you, just check the exchange rates

I wish I had known...
I wish i had known about the parking situation over there, plus the bad teaching methods of their professors and bad language skills. (My experience of course, im sure they have lots of outstanding profs.

I honestly DO NOT RECOMEND THIS SCHOOL, its big on FILM MAJORS THO, but if your going after a science carreer or medical PLEASE CHECK UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO, OR MCGILL UNIVERSITY, CONCORDIA UNIVERISTY

I was on exchange so i wanted to see and do as much as possible. Toronto is an amazing place to go out and the location is perfect if you want to travel: i went to Montréal, Québec, London, Algonquin Park, NY, Chicago, Boston...

York is a great university. The trouble is that the location is pretty far from downtown. One hour by bus and subway.

Well I would recommend kenssington market which is one of the best thing in Toronto with chinatown. Both are full of smells, colors,people...The beaches are great to and you can get a boat to visit the islands...There are so many things to do in Toronto ! But you need to get DOWNTOWN !!!

Living in residence was an amazing experience. It is so much different than French campuses. I got to live like a regular Canadian guy and that is what I wanted. There were only very few cons.
