If you need an accomadation apply for Shanowen residences(outside the campus), it's the same price as DCU but you are more independant (no room inspections, can have guests at night...)

If you ever decide to go to DCU join the some of the societies and clubs so life will be easier as you will meet loads of people that will help you anytime. Try to travel as much as you can, it is worth it. You will not find many problems in finding any type of advice or help.

go and enjoy yourself. try to get to know as many local students as erasmus ones...i would advise living off campus. oh and get a monthly bus ticket. it´s much cheaper.

You might not have many hours of lectures per week, but DCU asks for a huge effort from students concerning off-lecture hours...loads of assigments and papers to wirte...but nothing one can´t handle

Be aware that Dublin bus drivers do not provide change to users...try to have the exact fare, 1.35 if going to DCU...It´s a bugger, but then you´ll be able to buy bus tickets.
